Kevin and Jann were both trained as linguists with Wycliffe's partner, SIL. Jann has worked on several languages in Cameroon, as well as serving in other roles as needed (including guidance counselor for the local school), and worked as a Career Development Specialist for Wycliffe missionaries and partner organizations. She volunteers with SIL in Global Publishing Services as a compositor/typesetter.
Kevin served in language technology, helping local translators use the linguistic and translation software, and consulting on translation and language development projects in Cameroon. Kevin also helped develop software for the translation process, and worked with a team advising SIL as an organization on Information and Cyber Security. Software for translation and linguistic analysis is becoming a vital tool for Bible translators, and in many cases has dramatically decreased the time required for completing translations and literacy programs, as well as greatly improving quality. As they continue to volunteer with Wycliffe and SIL, they would appreciate your prayers. For financial gifts, please state, “Preference for the Wycliffe retirement income of Kevin and Jann Bradford.”

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
