Michael and Marie have served in a variety of roles since joining Wycliffe in 1990. Their primary focus has been mobilizing the Canadian and American Church in the cause of Bible translation--reaching those without God's Word in their language.
Michael has held communication leadership roles with Wycliffe Canada, Wycliffe USA, Seed Company and JAARS. Marie has served in administrative support roles while focusing primarily on ministry to their personal partnership team.
Michael's current role as a Partnership Development Coach involves equipping Wycliffe members with the skills and strategy needed to develop a full team of financial and prayer partners. This strategic role leverages years of experience in order to pass on the vision for seeing every language with access to God's Word. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
