Jim and Paula have served with Wycliffe for over 30 years. After serving for ten years in aviation Jim transitioned to serving in leadership and administrative roles. After 14 years of serving in senior leadership roles Jim recently transitioned to work with the Strategic Innovation Team with a focus on foundation setting and partnerships to accelerate the start of new Bible translation projects. The new opportunity is a good fit for Jim's education, experience, and passion for collaboration within the Body of Christ. Jim is specifically assigned to support the team in Latin America and in Eurasia. His new role includes training others in translation program design and management. Paula continues to serve in children's education providing reliable childcare for the families who are studying for Bible translation ministries at the Dallas campus. Her ministry makes it possible for new staff to get involved in Bible translation ministry faster so that Bibleless people can experience God’s Word in the language that speaks to their heart. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
