THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Art & Pam Cooper

Art & Pam Cooper

After 25 years of working in Southeast Asia, Art & Pam are assigned to help others on a global scale.
Art & Pam joined Wycliffe in 1987 and went to Southeast Asia in 1992. During their time there, they worked with a minority group, the Lahu Si, to develop a writing system, develop literacy materials and books, spread a vision for the Scriptures in their language, and begin translation of the Bible. At the same time, Art was teaching at a university training others to do the same kind of work.
At various time, they served in a variety of administrative roles, too. Art was a regional director where he related to government people as well as being responsible for others on the field. For the last 7 years they were on the field, Art was the head of the linguistics department at the university. Many students came through the program and have gone on to work in Bible translation and other language development.
Due to family needs, Art & Pam are now being based in the USA and helping others all over the world with spiritual development, finance, and other things.
Please consider how you might partner with them in their Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
