From a young age Abbie knew that God had laid the Great Commission on her heart. During her first semester of graduate school to become a school librarian she was surprised to find a job listing from Wycliffe in search of school librarians! After years of wondering how she might fit into serving, she had her answer.
God has opened the doors for Abbie to be able to support Bible translation by doing what she loves and being a K-12 school librarian at Hillcrest School (HIS). This is a position that will allow Abbie to support the work God is already doing by joining other educators at HIS in teaching and discipling the children of missionaries. Helping to provide a quality Christian education for their children enables families to continue their work in the surrounding community.
Please prayerfully consider investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and financial partner in her Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
