After joining Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1972, Mike and Rebecca Navratil were assigned to Brazil. Over a period of 28 years Mike served the Bible translation teams and indigenous communities as a pilot while Rebecca served in a number of behind-the-scenes roles. In 2003 the Navratils retrained and joined the International Media Department, located at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, NC. It has been their joy over the past years to help give the minority language communities of the world their Scriptures in sight and sound. The Navratils retired from Wycliffe after 47 years of service in 2019. Any contributions to the Navratils should be preferenced for the Wycliffe retirement pension of Mike and Rebecca Navratil. The Navratils would appreciate your prayers on their behalf as they continue to serve the Lord in their retirement years.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
