Mikael and Jeni Bister have over 20 years of experience working with Bible translation and literacy programs in Mozambique. They continue their Wycliffe ministry in regional roles from South Africa.
Mikael serves as a translation consultant and trainer for several language communities in Mozambique and other countries in the region. Jeni serves as the Literacy and Education Coordinator for southern Africa and mentors trainers and volunteers as they implement exciting local language reading clubs through churches and volunteer networks.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
