THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Steve & Kim Blewett

Steve & Kim Blewett

Did you know that there are over 300 languages in Papua New Guinea without any scripture at all? Imagine having no access to God’s Word in the language that speaks to your heart! Imagine the simple truths of John 3:16 being inaccessible to you because of language barriers!

Blewetts have served in Papua New Guinea since 1982, training and mentoring local Bible translators. They began by living in the Rapoisi community on Bougainville Island, learning that language and training two local men to translate into their own Rapoisi language. Later on they broadened their scope to include training and mentoring translators from other languages as well.

Steve and Kim feel privileged to work alongside Bougainvillean brothers and sisters who persevere in the work of Bible translation. They are excited to return to Papua New Guinea after a serious illness required treatment in the US.

Please prayerfully consider investing financially and through prayer in Steve & Kim’s Wycliffe ministry, to impact the lives of those who have yet to hear of God's love for them.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
