Since Mariyam Yohannis was a child, she wanted to serve the Lord. Now, she is serving the Lord with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Ethiopia. Mariyam is in Ethiopia to help translate the Bible for a people group there that does not have the Scripture in their language. Bible translation will provide the Scripture in the language that speaks to their hearts so that people will come to know the Lord, be changed, and serve God and their community. Also, she trains people to engage with the Scripture through different training. Praise the Lord!

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
