THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Neil & Joyce Coulter

Neil & Joyce Coulter

The Coulters spent 12 years in Papua New Guinea, where Neil served as Ethnomusicology Coordinator and Director for Language Services, and Joyce was the head of the English department at Ukarumpa International School.

As an ethnomusicology consultant, one of Neil's jobs was working with local communities to find new ways of using indigenous expressive arts--music, dance, drama, visual arts--as a part of Christian worship.

In 2015, the Coulters moved to Dallas, Texas, where Neil's experience as a field ethnomusicologist enhances his mentoring of the next generation of arts workers around the world.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
