THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Carolyn Thauer

Carolyn Thauer

Carolyn served with Wycliffe for several years in East Africa, teaching the children of missionaries. In 2003 she returned to the U.S. to work at Wycliffe's headquarters in Orlando, FL as a Youth Missions Educator, serving families by giving orientation to new MKs (missionary kids) and helping MKs with transition issues when families return to the U.S. from their field assignments. God has recently called Carolyn to use her skills and experience in another ministry with MKs, serving as the coordinator for the Middle School Youth Group at JAARS (a partner organization with Wycliffe Bible Translators). She is excited about investing into the lives of young people during this critical time in their faith journey. We invite you to consider how you might partner with Carolyn in her Wycliffe ministry through prayer or finances.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
