Doug and Bernadette (Bernie) joined Wycliffe in 2010 serving in People Engagement as Recruiters and later as Coordinators with the Events Team encouraging and challenging people to join the work of Bible translation.
Doug served from 2017 until 2019 in the Partnership Development (PD) department coaching new and established members.
In 2019, Doug and Bernie were assigned to JAARS and served as Directors of the Race for Possible while that program was in place.
Doug returned to the Wycliffe PD department in January of 2020 serving as a PD Coach. PD Coaches assist New Members in building their prayer and financial partnership teams with a goal of releasing them to their field assignment as soon as possible. Coaches also help Established Members maintain their partnership teams so that Bible translation may continue. Doug is also serving on the PD Build Team which provides direction for PD training and learning materials for new and established members.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
