“What about the millions who have never had access to God’s Word?” Duane and Shirley joined Wycliffe in response to this question. Their heart’s desire is to see Bibleless people reading and hearing God’s Word. For eighteen years they worked in Cameroon serving alongside translation teams filling roles in administration, vernacular media, new member orientation, housing and children’s education.
In 2010 they returned to the US joining the International Media Services team located at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw NC. From his office Waxhaw, Duane is able to work with people all around the world, teaching and promoting the use of mobile technology to share the Gospel. Mobile phones, portable WiFi hotspots and OTG devices allow people in the most remote places to see and hear Gospel messages (Jesus Films, New Testament audios, Bible apps). The Troyers are excited to see how media technology is providing access to God’s Word in ways they never could have imagined when they joined Wycliffe thirty-tree years ago.
Are you interested in seeing lives transformed through the use of technology and Scripture-based media? Wycliffe members rely on the prayer and financial partnership of people just like you. We invite you to engage with the Troyers, reaching the millions of people who still don’t have access to God’s Word.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
