Dudley and Lana King have completed their Home Assignment (formerly known as furlough) after answering God's call and serving for three years in Papua New Guinea (PNG) as Regional Center Managers.
God has led them to remain in the United States and Dudley and Lana have prayed for over a year asking God how He wanted them to support the work of Bible translation going forward, and God is leading.
Lana has taken the role of Staff Care Coordinator in the International Language Services (ILS) department of SIL, a partner organization of Wycliffe. ILS is the largest department of SIL, with over 500 missionaries serving. Lana will be part of a team of three who care for and minister to these missionaries.
Lana has now taken on a second role of HR Generalist for the same department. She does onboarding, offboarding, role and pay changes, etc. for the paid staff.
Dudley will be supporting the work of Bible translation by doing maintenance work at the SIL International Headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
