Eleanor is a new Wycliffe member who is working with the Global Sign Languages Team. She has recently completed the GSLT training program, where she learned about how to acquire a sign language on the field and work with a Deaf community. Next she will be traveling to Asia where she will be able to put those skills to practical use.
There are hundreds of sign languages around the world, and yet so far only one of them has a complete Bible. The need is great, and so is the opportunity! Eleanor is excited to be part of the mission to bring God’s Word to people in a language and form they clearly understand. She is seeking prayer and financial partners in her Wycliffe ministry, and you are invited to join the team investing in this important work.
Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
