Bible translation requires the equipping of Christians around the world in linguistics and translation techniques and providing linguistics consultant help for translation projects. Part of equipping those who serve language communities involves helping them to grow holistically via training and mentoring in their areas of specialty as well as spiritually and personally. The Starwalts use their expertise in New Testament Greek and linguistics to facilitate Bible translation so that the resulting translations are faithful both to the meaning of the received NT Greek texts as well as to the structures of the languages the NT is being translated into. Coleen is assigned remotely to SIL Nigeria as a Linguistics Consultant and as SIL Nigeria's Training and Mentoring Coordinator. Ervin is assigned to SIL International in the Translation department as a researcher in New Testament Greek. His work helps to enhance and develop new translation resources and tools that translators and translation consultants use worldwide during the translation process of the New Testament. Please consider partnering with them in their Wycliffe ministry financially and in prayer. Feel free to contact them personally!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
