Jim, after the loss of Virginia in August 2024, continues active Bible Translation ministry as part of the Seed Company. He is currently serving as the Chief Translation Quality Officer, responsible for the 115 members assigned to help ensure that God's Word is translated well. He also represents this group as part of Seed Company's Executive Leadership Team, helping to make key strategy decisions.
Jim resides in Waxhaw, NC, just south of Charlotte, and works on the campus of JAARS, a sister organization to Wycliffe and the Seed Company. He also travels regularly, sometimes in the US, sometimes internationally. He believes that consistent leadership and clear direction contribute to getting God's Word out to those who need it. It's an exciting time to be a part of Bible translation, since getting God's Word to all who need it is actually in sight!
Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
