Josh and Virginia Ham have been involved in Bible translation in French-speaking Africa since 2002. While serving in Benin (from 2002 to 2015), they helped launch translation and literacy projects in the Aja and Saxwe languages. In 2016, their boys' educational needs led the Hams to Cameroon (Central Africa). Josh works as a translation consultant for three new translation projects in central Cameroon, supporting local Bible translation teams and checking translated Scriptures for accuracy. Virginia serves as linguistics coordinator for the country of Cameroon. In addition, she is a linguistics consultant, a specialist who can help teams as they struggle with difficult aspects of their language's sound systems or grammar. To help Josh and Virginia continue supporting the Bible translation effort in this way, please consider investing in Bible translation by partnering with them in their Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
