THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Hayley Potter

Hayley Potter

Hayley knew her sophomore year of college that she was called to Africa and she could think of going nowhere else. Since returning to the States after serving in Northern Uganda with a Christian non-profit, she prayed for the Lord to send her back to the continent. She wondered how her passion for justice and healing in post-conflict societies could align with Bible Translation. When she discovered trauma healing, she knew this was what the Lord was calling her to do.

Today, she works with SIL Eastern Congo Group. There she serves the office and community, in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, helping them meet their needs for trauma healing and scripture engagement. She hopes to help others heal through Christ, and is thrilled to be a small part of others finding this hope and the healing only Christ can bring.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
