THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Bill & Norma Jean Jancewicz

Bill & Norma Jean Jancewicz

God speaks His love to our hearts in our mother tongue.

“Bible Translation is the mission of the whole church”.

This is not a new idea–it was stated as a principle in 2008 by Kirk Franklin, the former executive director of Wycliffe Bible Translators International (now Wycliffe Global Alliance).

God has been at work in the hearts and communities of First Nations communities in Canada, and Bill and Norma Jean have been privileged to be involved with several language communities who are translating the Bible into their own mother tongues. First Nations speakers of their own indigenous languages are engaged in translating the Bible for their own communities, in Cree, Oji-Cree and Naskapi.

Bill and Norma Jean serve these First Nations communities in Canada to facilitate Bible Translation and Literacy so that they can have the Bible in their mother tongues, too.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
