Gertrude joined Wycliffe in 1985 and in 1986 she went to serve as a literacy specialist in Papua New Guinea. Kevin joined Wycliffe in 1996 after serving 6 years in the Philippines as an independent missionary. He then returned to the Philippines to provide computer support for those involve in Bible translation. While they were both on furlough in 2001, they met at the Wycliffe headquarters in Orlando and were married seven months later.
They continued working at the Orlando offices until 2005 when Kevin took a study leave to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. It was his desire to get involved in translation when they returned to the field.
In 2009 they went to Papua New Guinea to work with the Notsi to translate the New Testament and provide training in literacy. They are most pleased to announce the completion of the Notsi New Testament. We rejoice that the Notsi NT have arrived, and everyone is looking forward to celebrating the dedication of it on June 25, 2025. Along with the New Testament we will be dedicating the Jesus Film dubbed in Notsi, and the Notsi Hymnal.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
