Ken and Joy began working in Peru in 1975. They prepared various books for teaching reading and also published Women of the Bible in Caquinte. In 2005 the completed translation of the Caquinte New Testament was published. Ken continued working as a translation consultant for various language projects in Peru and Ecuador.
They retired in 2019 and are now serving part-time as retired volunteers. They would appreciate your prayer for them and their volunteer work. Any contributions for them should be preferenced “for the Wycliffe retirement pension of Ken and Joy Swift”.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
