John was raised in a missions-focused church where he heard many missionaries speak and felt God call him to missions more than 20 years ago. He majored in Biblical and Theological studies at his undergraduate school, where he met Kelly.
Kelly was raised in a Christian home and felt called to use her nursing degree overseas while on a missions trip. When they heard Papua New Guinea has a clinic where Kelly could work and is also the most linguistically diverse country with a great need for translators, they knew PNG was a good fit for them.
Please prayerfully consider investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and financial partner in their Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
