THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Kristina Tarp

Kristina Tarp

From 2001-2012, Kristina worked with Wycliffe in Southeast Asia conducting language research among unreached people groups. She began learning one of those languages, Cantik*, with the goal of providing scripture in oral story form.
Her parents’ declining health presented a call to serve back home, and for the last decade, Kristina had the honor of caring for her beloved parents through their transition to Christ’s presence.
Now Kristina is rejoining Wycliffe and returning to Southeast Asia to pick up where she left off. God has been at work all along, and a small church has begun to form in Cantik. Kristina’s purpose is to assist this new church in translating local language scripture for discipleship and evangelism. Her long-term goal is to train as a Bible consultant to help provide scripture to the remaining 250 regional languages with no Bible.
Please prayerfully consider investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and financial partner in her Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
