Tim and Dee Manning joined Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1992. They studied in Texas, then France in preparation for work in Senegal, West Africa. They returned stateside in late 2002, taking assignments (Housing Manager and Receptionist) at the North East Regional Office (NERO) in Lancaster, PA. NERO closed in 2008.
The Mannings then moved to the JAARS Center (Waxhaw, NC) in 2009. JAARS houses and provides transportation (land, air and sea) training, media services and technology aid to furloughing missionaries (from Wycliffe's mission and other organizations). They also train missionaries of a host of other missions. After 13 years as Jaars, the Mannings moved to Natural Bridge, VA where they both work remotely for Wycliffe USA. At present (2023), Tim is working in Special Projects and recently returned from a month in PNG. Dee started her assignment in Wycliffe's Member Care Department in September, 2020. As a Launch Coordinator (LC), she assists new members with pre-field requirements and guiding them towards their service assignment.
Tim and Dee are always interested in engaging new partners to their prayer and financial team as many faithful members of their team have gone on to Glory. They truly love their Wycliffe ministry and investing in Bible Translation work worldwide. Please consider how you might help or join them in this exciting task. -- Although assigned stateside at this time, the Mannings are very open to another overseas assignment should one present itself in the near future.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
