They then transitioned to full time Christian ministry with Milligan University (Assistant to the President), East 91'st Street Christian Church (Minister of Administration- ordained) and Harborside Christian Church (Minister of Administration and Missions) before being led to full time missionary service in 2001. They served with New International (formerly New Mission Systems Intl.) as C.O.O. and in a variety of leadership positions. They became member missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators in November of 2009.

Mike currently serves with Wycliffe USA as Senior Director of Workforce Experiences on the Global Workforce Services (HR) team. The workgroup Mike leads is responsible for Staff Relations, HR Training and Coaching, Performance Management/Appraisals and Reconciliation Processes. He and Karen also serve at their local Church near their home in Blairsville, GA.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
