THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Nancy Hagberg

Nancy Hagberg

The translation of the New Testament for the Mayo people of northern Mexico was dedicated March 2014. Nancy's parents, Howard and Elizabeth Collard, started this project in 1947 to 1969. The Lord called Nancy and her late husband, Larry Hagberg, to work with the Mayos and complete this project. They picked up the New Testament translation project in 1983. The Mayo translation team requests Nancy's continued help with Old Testament books, a dictionary, and a hymnal. They have completed Genesis, Exodus, Proverbs, Jonah, Ruth and Esther. They have Psalms, Daniel and Job drafted. This project could not have been accomplished without faithful prayer and financial partners all these years. Pray for additional partners to join Nancy and the Mayo translation team as they continue.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
