Phil and Jan have enjoyed serving as Wycliffe members for over 50 years. They have supported Bible translation through a variety of roles that impact Bible translation while working in Canada, Guatemala, and the USA since they joined in 1973.
Serving remotely from their home in northeast Nebraska, Phil and Jan are part of a specialized team in Wycliffe USA's Member Finance serving members globally by helping them navigate, understand and follow the many financial issues of Wycliffe’s guidelines and IRS policies for non-profit organizations.
The Fosters are directly serving missionaries active in Bible translation and language development worldwide. Every prayer and financial partner has an impact in seeing God’s Word reach the Bibleless in a language they can clearly understand and bring life transformation.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
