THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Ploski, Philip

Ploski, Philip

Philip joined Wycliffe in July of 2020. Prior to that Philip studied linguistics for the purpose of supporting Bible translation in direct response to Jesus' words, “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38 ESV).

Philip has agreed to serve in the vital role of "Prayer and Spiritual Development Director" with JAARS. JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief and vision that people's lives and communities are transformed as they experience God's Word in their own language. From pilot training and mission aviation services to remote technology and communications support, JAARS provides off-the-grid logistical solutions and cross-cultural training that helps make Bible translation possible.

Philip will passionately serve the work of Bible translation by coordinating prayer groups, facilitating spiritual vitality events, and engaging in spiritual warfare on behalf of the hundreds of Wycliffe missionaries and volunteers that serve at JAARS. Kelly will support and encourage Philip while educating their four children.

Bible translation takes a team! The Ploski family has been called to serve but need a faithful team of prayer and financial partners to begin.

Would you come alongside the Ploski family as they serve with Wycliffe in this challenging and fruitful work?

Every prayer and financial partner has an impact in seeing God’s Word reach every language group on earth.
Some plant seeds, some water, and God causes the growth!

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
