Kurt and Beth Powell are grateful to be able to serve the Lord in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea as Boarding Home parents. Bible translation is a team effort, and the Powell family is honored to be part of the team. They look forward to caring for missionary children in a boarding home, allowing their parents to translate God’s Word in some very remote areas . It takes a wide range of skills and abilities to do an effective job of Bible translation. A vital element of partnership is prayer and financial support. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
