Rachel is commissioning to facilitate Bible translation in Asia through language survey.
She first heard about Bible translation when a Wycliffe missionary shared his testimony at her university. There, the Lord laid a burden on her heart for the millions of people that do not have Scripture in their own language. In exploration and preparation for a possible future serving in the Bible translation movement, she did an internship with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Asia in 2018. This experience further motivated her to pursue Bible translation with Wycliffe as she follows Christ's call to reach all nations with the Gospel.
Rachel graduated with a BA, majoring in linguistics, and has also completed several graduate level courses, including two certificates that will allow her to work as a language surveyor to facilitate Bible translation in Asia. She looks forward to joining her team and working together to discover and address the translation needs of several remote language communities in the region.
Please prayerfully consider partnering with Rachel as she works to advance the Gospel in Asia.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
