THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Andy & Kate Ring

Andy & Kate Ring

In 2017, after more than 41 years service with Wycliffe, Andy & Kate Ring have retired from active service and will begin serving in Wycliffe as volunteers. The Rings served as Bible Translators in Ghana, West Africa, where they led the team that completed the Lelemi New Testament in 1996. They completed the checking of the entire Lelemi Bible in 2014. From 2000 to 2009, the Rings pioneered today's commonly used Cluster Approach and saw the New Testament completed in Tuwuli, Selee, Sekpele and Siwu. Since 2009, the Rings have helped complete Scripture goals in 12 language programs in Nigeria, seven Old Testament programs in Tanzania, and seven New Testament projects nearing completion in India. Thanks to your partnership, these Scriptures are changing people's lives!

As the Rings change to a volunteer status, they will maintain their Wycliffe membership. Therefore, financial partners may continue to support their ministry by donating to Wycliffe. Gifts to Wycliffe will now cover their retirement pension. Tax-deductible receipts will be issued by Wycliffe for these gifts.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
