John and Elizabeth have been working in Cameroon since 2011. They have lived in different parts of the country while supporting Bible translation in various ways. They now live in the capital city, Yaoundé.
John and Elizabeth are excited to be involved in the ministry of Bible translation and to build capacity in Cameroonians. John works in the Computer Services Department, and he is currently coordinating this department. He is helping Cameroonians and colleagues with all things computer-related as they work in language development. Elizabeth is in the Literacy department, working with staff all over the country who are helping to create materials and promote literacy in the mother tongues of Cameroon. Cameroon is home to 277 languages! The Roetteles are involved with many of those language groups in their positions and location in the capital.
Do you want to be a part of what God is doing in Cameroon in Bible translation? The Roetteles are always happy to welcome financial and prayer partners to strengthen their team. If you've ever wanted to join a team that is working with multiple languages and people groups to promote God's word, consider joining the Roettele's Wycliffe ministry!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
