Taylor’s journey with Wycliffe Bible Translators began in 2014 when she first went on a short-term Bible distribution trip to Peru. Since then, she has continued to support Wycliffe, returned to do a second trek in Peru, and attended Wycliffe’s week-long Explore Bible Translation class at the linguistics institute in Dallas.
Last winter, Taylor had the incredible opportunity to work with the SIL International team in Ethiopia to provide new photos documenting their team, their space, their work in remote areas, special events and workshops, and their personal journeys in order to incorporate all those aspects into a new website and other print materials. Taylor will continue to use photography to help teams around the world share their stories of how God is at work.
As a recruiter, Taylor will be helping and building relationships with individuals who have an interest in and sense God's direction towards mission work. She prays that during her time with Wycliffe, she will be able to see translations for every language still needing one. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
