Tim and Lori Ruth served the work of Bible translation on the beautiful island of Papua for more than 14 years. As a pilot and mechanic, Tim had many unique experiences and challenges related to remote jungle flying. Taking care of a family and raising children in another country gave Lori insight into what is needed for a family to thrive within another culture. In 2020 God brought them back to the US to help prepare the next generation of aviation personnel for overseas service.
Tim and Lori now serve at JAARS, NC, as part of the Aviation Training Department. This department recruits and trains new aviation personnel for ministry all over the globe! Tim and Lori's years of International experience are an invaluable asset to the training team as they prepare new families to serve in remote areas around the world.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
