Our oldest daughter came to us one day and said that God was telling her to be a missionary. She was 5 at the time. That was the first of many moments that God started opening our hearts to the call to Go. We are now serving Him by supporting Bible translation in Papua New Guinea. We serve a wild and creative God, who can use even the voice of a child to stir hearts for His purposes!
John serves Bible translation through construction management in Ukarumpa, where his roles are many and ever changing. He builds and maintains things from houses to roads to relationships, so that translators can focus on their work—getting God's Word to those that don't have it. Kristi is the Art Teacher at the Primary Campus of our mission center's International school. Kristi and John also both serve in youth ministry as Bible study leaders for middle and high school. We ask you to prayerfully consider partnering in these Wycliffe ministries with us as we work to reach the Bibleless people of Papua New Guinea.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
