Mike and Vicki have been serving in Bible translation for nearly 35 years. Their work began among the Paasaal people group in Ghana, West Africa, where they helped Wycliffe's Seed Company pioneer new approaches to Bible translation. Since that time Mike has provided leadership in a variety of roles while Vicki serves from the home front.
The Toupins' service spans Bible translation and Literacy, Project Management, and Resource development. Mike's most recent roles include Chief Development Officer and Chief Story Officer. Vicki manages home concerns including 4 grown children and seven grandchildren!
Mike currently serves as Vice President for Catalytic Partnerships, connecting individuals and organizations to Bible translation. The Toupins' are passionate about seeing every language group have Scripture available by 2025 - They have given most of their adult lives toward this goal and they are applying their experience to mobilize people and resources to do so.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
