THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Dave & Sarah Troolin

Dave & Sarah Troolin

David and Sarah Troolin have worked with the Sam people of Papua New Guinea since 2002 to help them develop an alphabet, begin literacy programs, and produce literature in their own language. The Sam now have numerous portions of Scripture in their language including the gospel of Mark.

Alongside having a heart to serve the Sam people, David also serves as the Pacific Area Language Services Director. In this role he works with Bible translation organizations and parachurch organizations to bring expertise and training in translation techniques and methods where it is needed in the Pacific Area. He is excited to work with partners, especially local partners, to find ways to encourage and support them in ministry. This role gives David a bird's eye view of missions while the Sam ministry helps to keep the Troolins grounded in Bible translation efforts in one local community.

David and Sarah are currently seeking additional financial and prayer partners for their ministry. Please prayerfully consider partnering with their Wycliffe ministry to give the Sam people the Word of God in their own language and empower Bible translation in the Pacific.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
