Brian and Rachel are part of a team in the Central African Republic (CAR) that supports national Bible translation in more than a dozen languages. Brian helps translation teams finalize their drafts of the New Testament for publication, and also works with the linguistics teams in both CAR and neighboring Cameroon to gather data on unwritten languages as a first step toward Bible translation. Rachel’s most recent role was in the CAR Communications department, spreading the word about Bible translation in CAR and raising prayer support for the work there. Following their most recent four-year term in Cameroon and CAR, the Parkers have now returned to the USA for a time of rest, reconnecting with churches, and further training. They plan to return to Central Africa in 2025.
We invite you to join this strategic work among the language communities of the Central African Republic and Cameroon, through prayer and financial partnership with Brian and Rachel’s Wycliffe ministry!

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
