John & Judy Williams

John and Judy have worked in Mexico since 1986. They worked together first with the Mixtec people of Tezoatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico and the New Testament and a Grammar of the language was published and dedicated in 2008. The New Testament is also recorded. In 2009 they began working with the Mixtec people of Ayutla, Guerrero. The New Testament was recorded in 2014 and dedicated in 2017. So far close to 300 audio players of the New Testament have been distributed. Translation work is currently being done on the Ayutla Mixtec Old Testament. Both New Testaments can be found as apps on the Playstore. John is also a translation consultant, and has led or helped out with a number of translation workshops, and has also given papers at the Bible Translation conferences in Dallas. The Tezoatlan Mixtec-Spanish dictionary Judy has worked on for many years has been published. She has handed in the Ayutla Mixtec dictionary to the Spanish editing department of SIL. She has also worked as a consultant on a number of other dictionaries and is a manuscript editor of Scripture about to be published.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
