THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Jake and Annette Smith

Jake and Annette Smith

Jake and Annette live in South America, where they serve to advance Bible translation among unreached people groups. Currently, they are working in a remote community, learning the local language and culture, and building relationships with the people. They are excited to be back with their three boys to the country where they grew up and be a part of bringing God's transforming Word into communities in a language they can clearly understand.

Jake's current and future roles involve meeting linguistic and translation needs. Aside from teaching their children, Annette will use her experience to provide literacy materials and establish a literacy program led by local language group speakers.

We invite you to become a prayer or financial partner in their Wycliffe ministry.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
