Alan and Holly are thankful for your interest in their Wycliffe ministry. They served for 11 years in South America as translators for the Embera people of Colombia, and then served another 11 years in Recruitment Ministries in the Northwest USA. Alan is now serving as the Bible Translation Program Manager in Colombia. As of January 2020, Holly has been promoted to Director of the Partnership Development department, helping new members get to their assignments sooner and with strong teams behind them.
The Wymores loved working in translation and then in recruitment but know that what they are doing to manage translation programs is critical to finishing well in Colombia. It is exciting to see God's hand at work through his word translated in the local languages! Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
