Zak and Laura O’Leary arrived in Papua New Guinea with their two children, Anna and Titus, in 2017. God led them to serve the Leipon language of Manus Province. They are working to help translators
chosen by the Leipon community to translate the Bible into their own language. Zak advises the translators on Biblical culture, exegesis, and translation principles. Laura’s training has prepared her to
support the language group in literacy and language development. They are working on learning the Leipon language and culture while they support the ongoing translation work.
Zak and Laura are excited by the ways that God is working in the Leipon community. Thankfully, God did not call them to this work alone. They are here as representatives of a team of people God has called together to help the Leipon translators bring God’s Word to their people. They invite you to join them as partners in this ministry.

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
